Countdown: 14 Days to go!

Exactly two weeks until my Rangapravesam!

If I could use one word to describe how today went, I'd say 'sweat'. Lots of it.

From the moment I got up, my first orchestra rehearsal was all I could think about. I was super nervous about how I'd do with the orchestra and whether I'd be able to remember what comes after what in the spur of the moment.

I walked into the studio today, and a new wave of nervousness washed over me. Seeing the familiar mat that the orchestra uses laid out, along with mic stands reminded me of the times I'd come to watch my dance classmates' orchestra rehearsals.  Today, it was my turn to be on the other side!

I didn't think we would get through all of the items during rehearsal today, but thanks to the lovely orchestra, we were able to power through all of my songs with minor pauses. The two hours went by surprisingly fast, and left me with only a few seconds to wipe off sweat in between each item.

By the end of rehearsals, I was practically drenched in sweat. However, it was the first time I did all of the items back to back, and it felt good! I did make a few mistakes in some of the items. I will continue to take aunty's feedback and correct them during our next classes.

After rehearsals, we took a family trip to Jamba juice, as a first-orchestra-practice treat. The sweat didn't even bother me anymore, as I sipped my acai smoothie, and fought with my sister, as always :).
